1. We would say perhaps he's only able to create a certain number of objects per day (less than ten?) as well as the objects being limited in size or power. If he wants to generate ten apples per day, that's probably fine... and we'd rather he not sit around creating machine guns or laser swords. ;)

2. Correct, he's unable to tell if anyone is alive or dead. Along with that, everybody's soul here is only visible via their Shadow, so only looking at their body he would be unable to see anything at all. He may be able to make out Shadows more easily than other people, though of course, please use discretion with other players before having him call people out on what their Shadows show.
